Third Lecture - September 23rd 2014
The material for today's lecture was quite easy to comprehend (conjunctions, disjunctions, negations, and truth tables), particularly because I covered these topics in my Monday tutorial. The red Ferrari and pen examples made the lecture material easy to learn. The one question that puzzled me the most was negating this statement: "There exists a car that is red and Ferrari." to "There does not exists a car that is red and Ferrari.", which translated to "For all cars, it is red, then it is not Ferrari.", thus "For all cars, it is Ferrari, then it is not red". Besides the lecture, I really enjoyed my tutorial. The tutorial questions were a little challenging but it helped me grasp the lecture material a lot firmer.
